Question: What does the back cover of the new Kutless CD, It Is Well, remind you of? (more specifically, the ship in the picture) Take a guess, then scroll down to see the answer:

My co-host J-izzle guessed Christopher Columbus. WAY OFF!

Answer: Old Spice! aka the old man replacement shower in a bottle! I believe they haven't changed the formula since Christopher Columbus brought it from spain. Most historians believe that "Old Spice" is latin for Spaniard's armpit.

he was in the band, foolish things! First, check out his awesome story and audition on the video below:

(can't see the video? click here)

and now hear his amazing voice on the band's myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/foolishthings

I had a chance to meet them years ago at a county fair, and knew they had an awesome sound and hoped to hear more of them in the future. In 2007, they were signed on a Christian label, and had a new CD coming out in 2008. Pretty much right after that new CD came out, the band broke up. Here is the note on their myspace about it:

After an amazing 10 years of friendship, worship and ministry, we are sad to announce that this is the last season for Foolish Things. We have been honored to make music together and serve the Lord Jesus Christ with music. Thank you to everyone that has been on this journey with us. Each of you played a role in our journey and we are extremely blessed to have been a part of what God has done.
Although we are grieving, and semi-anxious about what lies ahead we are excited that a new chapter is beginning. Babies are on the way, different job opportunities are opening, and ministry opportunities are in each of our futures.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. We love you. Blessings,

I can't imagine what it would be like to be a band for 10 years, finally get noticed and signed, and then split when everything seems to be going well. With knowing that background, seeing Mark's reaction to being picked to go to Hollywood means even more. I'm pulling for you Mark!
